Heart/Crazy On You (live)
The Unicorn animation from the previous post led my mind to Heart, naturally. I went through a serious Dreamboat Annie/Little Queen phase in the late nineties and I still have the coke mirror Heart logo belt buckle to prove it. I even blew my vocal chords trying to sing “Barracuda” at a budget karaoke club in Bay Ridge once. My throat was already shot from a weed-fueled clambake in my friend’s car only moments before. Lessons learned: don’t party in Bay Ridge if you can help it…and don’t even try to karaoke a vocally-charged Heart song, let alone when you are HIGH. Another lesson learned: when you are faced with a long guitar solo in the middle of your karaoke performance, just twirl. Pretend you’re wearing a cape and that the more you twirl, the more you’re impressing everyone in the room with your magical wizardry kahoots.
